Gabriela Berlingeri is the force behind Diciembre Veintinueve, a project born in 2020 from a love of self-expression, jewelry craftsmanship and the celebration of island energy in all its forms. As a self-taught designer, Gabriela’s work emerges from the intersection of personal experience, cultural influence, and material exploration.

In 2025, Gabriela’s creative ambitions reached a new height with the brand’s first-ever swimwear collection; a long held dream, thoughtfully crafted with jewelry lovers in mind. The line seamlessly extends D29’s visual and emotional language into a new medium, evoking sensuality, strength, and intention.

Diciembre Veintinueve began as a handmade jewelry line named after founder Gabriela Berlingeri’s birth date, as an intimate reflection of her personal journey and deep inspiration drawn from life by the sea in Puerto Rico. From the beginning, the brand’s commitment to authenticity and versatility quickly captured hearts around the world, earning admiration for its meaningful and adaptable designs.

In 2025, Diciembre Veintinueve expanded its creative universe with the launch of a long-awaited swimwear collection. True to the brand’s DNA, the line features a handmade, Puerto Rican and woman-designed print inspired by the iconic Sontse Necklace. The highly anticipated collection includes 12 styles and 5 carefully curated colorways, including an exclusive Pantone shade inspired by the glow of a Puerto Rican sunrise. Just like the jewelry that defined the brand, each piece in the swimwear line reflects a deep attention to detail and a heartfelt connection to island life.
